Last First Kiss - After I was divorced I waited for awhile before I started to date. I felt like a teenager emotionally, and like a leper socially. I was no better at the dating game at 56 than I was at 15. What do you say? Will she like you? Do you open the car door? Is it too soon to call her? I hated being single and dating again. Socially I felt like the proverbial “fifth wheel.” It felt like the world was made for “young” singles and “old” couples. I was neither. During this time I saw a movie where the main character said to his movie love interest, “I want you to be my last first kiss.” I brought the line to my friends and co-writers Billy Lee and Randy Finchum at one of our writing sessions. We then wrote, “My Last First Kiss.” Go to www.kentmaxson.com/music to listen and purchase this song.
