A lot of great musicians have come from the West Texas area.  Buddy Holly, Mac Davis, Waylon Jennings, Don Williams, Leanne Womack, Joe Ely, Guy Clark, and many more.  One day I overheard a newspaper reporter ask Lloyd Maines, “How come so many great musicians came from this area?”  Lloyd replied, “Well, there’s nothing better to do.”  That line stuck with me for many years.  I shared it with my friend and co-writer, Adam James and we decided that we wanted to try and capture the simple pleasure of life in a song and frame it around the phrase, “Nothing Better To Do.”     WWW.KENTMAXSON.COM/MUSIC
